Bayern Munich's leadership for hiring Ralf Rangnick as the team's head coach for the next season
According to the German media outlet "Kicker," there is support within Bayern Munich's leadership for hiring Ralf Rangnick as the team's head coach for the next season.
The 65-year-old Rangnick currently serves as the head coach of the Austrian national team. Following the decision of Hansi Flick to remain at Bayer Leverkusen, Rangnick's name has been linked with the coaching position at Bayern Munich by both the media and some within the club.
As per "Kicker," some members of Bayern's leadership support the hiring of Rangnick due to his proficiency in speaking German and his proven ability to smoothly lead teams through rebuilding phases while acting in the club's best interests. The report also suggests that Flick could potentially envision himself coaching Bayern again; however, he is not the primary candidate for a coaching change as perceived by the club.
"Nagelsmann" is currently one of the main contenders for Bayern's new coach selection, with "Eberl" also not opposed to rehiring the former coach of the team. Nevertheless, not everyone within Bayern's decision-making hierarchy and some players share the same opinion. They are questioning whether Nagelsmann has learned from his previous coaching experience at Bayern, particularly concerning off-field matters. Nagelsmann's name is being extensively discussed internally at Bayern, but opinions are currently divided.
